Question

Should I Cut Extra-Large Potatoes Before or After Baking?

Should I cut extra-large potatoes before or after baking? Various sizes of potatoes were in the bag.

Answer

Keep in mind that larger potatoes will take longer to bake than smaller ones. If you’re baking mixed sizes, test the smaller ones first during the baking cycle. Potatoes will be done when easily pierced with a fork all the way through, or when they reach an internal temperature of 210 degrees F.
